This Festival Sustainability toolkit emerged as part of the Cultura Circular (Circular Culture) programme, a British Council initiative in Mexico focused on promoting a culture of sustainability in the festival sector. 

AGF, in collaboration with Edinburgh Napier University delivered an online training programme for 30 Mexican Festivals. Alongside the training a Sustainability Toolkit was developed for festival managers.

The toolkit draws upon the developed training content and provides a comprehensive review of all of the key topics covered in the training as well as real case studies and checklists that the festival organiser can use for their events.
