The live events industry often talks about sustainability in terms of travel, energy, and waste, etc., but one critical piece of the puzzle is still missing: the environmental impact of the products and equipment we use.

In this session, Phoebe Currie (PLASA) explore the live events supply chain as a connected system, from manufacturers and emerging regulations, through rental houses and clients, and ultimately, to production on the ground. She will unpack what new policy and reporting requirements mean for manufacturers, how this information needs to flow up the supply chain, and why rental and production companies will increasingly need product-level data to meet their own sustainability commitments.
