Paul Gilbey is Co-Owner and Managing Director of Nu Group, where he has spent the past 10 years helping shape the company’s growth and direction. After stepping into joint ownership and the Managing Director role two years ago, Paul now leads the business with a strong focus on client relationships, sustainability strategy, and the delivery of innovative solutions across the live events sector.

In his day-to-day role, Paul oversees Nu Group’s client portfolio and works closely with partners to design and deliver practical, forward-thinking sustainability solutions. As demand for more sustainable service delivery has accelerated across the events industry, Paul and his team have been at the forefront of pioneering new approaches that balance environmental responsibility with operational excellence.

Nu Group’s sustainability work has delivered measurable and impactful results at major UK events including All Points East, LIDO Festival, BBC Radio 2 in the Park, and Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, helping to set new benchmarks for sustainable event delivery.

 Paul considers it a privilege to lead a committed and passionate team, and remains driven by the belief that meaningful change in the events industry is achieved through collaboration, innovation, and people who genuinely care about doing things better.
