Dr Mike Duignan

Dr Mike Duignan is the Founder and Chair of the Centre for Events & Festivals (CEF), where he focuses on connecting academic and industry expertise to produce research and resources that support the effective design and delivery of events and festivals.

He is a Professeur des universités at the University of Paris 1 and Editor-in-Chief of Event Management Journal, the leading international journal in the field, founded in 1993 and based in New York.

He also edits Routledge’s book series How Events Transform Society.
