Instagrid Customers Avoid 1 Million Tonnes of CO₂ by Replacing Combustion Generators
A major milestone for clean energy in live events and beyond: Instagrid has announced that customers using its portable battery power systems have collectively avoided 1 million tonnes of potential CO₂ emissions by replacing traditional combustion generators. 🌿⚡
According to Instagrid's latest Impact Report, nearly 60,000 battery units have been deployed globally over the past five years, helping organisations across events, construction, TV & film and other sectors reduce emissions, improve air quality and create quieter working environments.
The report also highlights that Instagrid's battery systems produce up to 94% fewer greenhouse gas emissions over their lifetime than comparable combustion generators, while reducing fuel use, servicing requirements and operational costs.
The transition away from fossil fuel-powered generators is an important step towards decarbonising temporary power, and demonstrates how practical technology can help organisations reduce emissions without compromising performance.
Congratulations to the Instagrid team on reaching this significant milestone.
