Richard Burnett

Richard Burnett is the Managing Director of KB Event, an industry-leading event logistics company. During Richard’s 41-year career in logistics, he has worked for many well-known businesses, including TDG, Wincanton, Hays and Samworth Brothers, looking after some of the most prestigious high street names such as Heinz, GSK, Tesco and adidas. His most recent prior appointment was that of Chief Exec at the Road Haulage Association (RHA). During his 7-year tenure, he transformed the organisation, working tirelessly for the logistics industry, growing the RHA’s profile and membership significantly.

Richard’s role encompasses the oversight of sustainability initiatives, working in close partnership with forward-thinking organisations to drive leadership in sustainable event logistics. This includes collaboration with Mercedes-Benz to integrate 100% electric trucks into KB Event operations.
