Course Overview:

The two-week programme equips you with practical skills and knowledge in environmental operations at events. You’ll explore current UK and EU legislation and regulations, key environmental impacts and solutions, the circular economy and greening the supply chain as well as innovative approaches to communication and behaviour change that encourage sustainable practices among stakeholders.

It's aimed at event professionals working in accessibility and/or sustainability, teams across the private and public events sectors, aspiring professionals, academics, students and those wanting to learn more.

Course Details:

Duration: 2 weeks, covering 9 topics (4 topics week 1, 5 topics week 2)

Commitment: Minimum of 4 hours study per week

Week 1 and 2 Led by Dr Teresa Moore, Director of A Greener Future, with support from online tutors.

Assessment: Online test at the end of the course

Progression:

Successful completion may lead to an invitation to Stage 2 of AGF training.
