Matthew Whitehead

Matthew Whitehead is the founder and Managing Director of Airworks, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He holds a degree in Fine Art from the University of Birmingham and established Airworks in 2002. Airworks is a leader in creating premium air sculptures for the live entertainment industry. Under Matthew’s leadership, the company combines extensive experience and a passion for sculpture design, using advanced 3D software and in-house fabrication to deliver projects from initial concept through final logistical arrangements - creating impactful scenic experiences for audiences worldwide.
