Accessibility
LIVE CAPTIONING
GEI delegates will have access to live captioning in Rooms 1 and 2 throughout the day. Captioning will be available via on-screen displays in the rooms, as well as on personal mobile devices.
Live captioning is provided by MyClearText, a leading provider of captioning and accessibility solutions for events, conferences and broadcasts. With over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality human captioning, MyClearText also offers AI-powered captioning through AccessLOOP. This combination provides flexible and scalable options to support accessibility needs.
Venue Access
There is level access throughout the event area with easy access between entrances and the conference space. There is a large unisex toilet on the ground floor. Please note this isn’t an accessible toilet. The accessible toilet is on level one and can be accessed by lift from the main hotel lobby.
Any accessibility, medical or dietary requirements or support can be requested through the online event registration form. Our team at the registration desk will be available to assist attendees with accessibility requirements on the day, including providing access to a quieter space.
Please note: All sessions will be filmed for playback to GEI delegates for 1 month after the conference, and future conference promotional material. By participating you agree to be filmed and photographed.

Venue
The Nine Kings Suite will be divided into a large Foyer, three session rooms, and an additional networking space.
Upon your arrival, there is direct access from the street to the Nine Kings part of the hotel, to the left of the main entrance. Alternatively you can enter the main hotel lobby and on the left you will see double doors leading to the registration area.
The main entrance has full automatic doors with a guest safety officer / security. Note there is another event (ILMC) in the same venue with different accreditation. Check in at the GEI conference registration desk to collect your pass and other conference materials.

GEI18 will take place in the Nine Kings Suite of the Royal Lancaster Hotel.
The hotel is located next to Lancaster Gate tube station, and within close distance from Paddington train and tube station.

If you’ve already registered for GEI18, or plan to, we’re able to offer special delegate rates at the Royal Lancaster London, the conference hotel.
The Royal Lancaster offers a range of rooms and suites to suit different budgets. Staying onsite makes networking, meetings, and late-night events much easier, and rooms typically sell out well in advance of the conference. We recommend booking early to secure availability and the best rate.
